Stephanie Ates joined Reyna Law Office, P.C. in 2015. Since joining, Stephanie has worked on numerous family law issues, Orders of Protection, and Civil No Contact Stalking Orders. Stephanie has been practicing since 2013, primarily in the area of family law, including divorce settlements, child custody agreements and Orders of Protection.
Originally from California, Stephanie obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley. Following graduation, she worked as a childcare director, where she helped her program win accolades and fundraise for scholarships for low-income families.
Stephanie graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, located in New York City, in 2013. While there, she served on the Pro-Bono Student Advisory Committee and as student advocate and coordinator for the Incarcerated Mothers Law Project, where she assisted incarcerated women with family law issues. She also interned with the Women’s Prison Association, where she worked with women whom had recently been released from jail with various civil law issues.
Stephanie is a member of the Latino Bar Association of Will County, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Will County Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association of Will County. Stephanie is also a Family Law Mediator for Will County.
